Stopped for breakfast after visiting Dundee for a wedding. Cosy little tea room with a retro feel, all 60's tunes & floral patterned crockery. We both had the full cooked breakfast with a coffee & peppermint tea. Good value at £17.50 (which included 2 packs of tablet for the train ride). Lovely ingredients, well cooked with gorgeous toast on the side. Not huge portions so if you want a 'builders breakfast' probably better going elsewhere. Home-baked cakes & scones looked fantastic too. Highly recommended.
First time in Palais today. Staff very friendly. Great decor. Food was excellent. Worth a visit.

The coffee here was all right, though they didn't have all the flavourings available when I visited; I had to be refunded after I'd already ordered something which wasn't in stock. The WiFi didn't seem to be working during my visit. The sizes of their drinks are pretty generous!
Good coffee(big cups) and nice cakes too. Free WiFi if required. Watch out for the seagulls if you are sat outside they are not averse to pinching food off the table. Would recommend.

Family friendly, great coffee. Chocolate cakes are excellent as well as their apple and cinnamon scones. Scrumptious.
Tried this place for the first time and wow truly amazing cake. Mars Bar Brownies are highly recommended. Definitely a regular spot to visit again.

Staff went out of their way to settle me and my 17 month old daughter on a table downstairs, which meant one member of staff taking my buggy down in the lift and meeting me at my table. There is a great kids menu with colouring in on the back, and they brought a cup of coloured pencils. The kids meal was huge, and kids eat free on a Sunday! I had the double butterfly of haddock battered. It was beautifully cooked and you could taste the freshness.
Top quality fish and chips, an up to date menu for the non traditionalists, prices competitive for a city centre. The service was polite and prompt, the food as fresh as it could be. The decor is subdued modern, but nothing wrong with that. I didn't try the seated downstairs, but will when I'm next in Dundee. Promise.

This sandwich bar is the best on the Perth Road. Great range of delicious food, cheery helpful staff, best prices around and even a small area to sit and have a cup of tea while reading the local paper. I go there at every opportunity when in that neck of the woods. Excellent on all fronts.
Visit here regularly (work locally) & noticed they were doing a Falafel Wrap (a middle eastern dish). Its a small burger shape made with chick pea, onion & spices, its very healthy & filling too, it comes in a wrap with salad & humas, it was delicious, highly recommend. This shop is run by a husband & wife team assisted by Bill (a very.friendly guy) who knows his customers by name. Worth a visit :)

Just been in with my husband with a groupon for 2 course lunch for 2. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it was worth it, it was delicious and plentiful. Staff were friendly and attentive. It was quiet when we were in. 5* food and service . Will definitely be back!
Fantastic value for money. Lovely staff. Food was lovely.

Lovely food, nice comfortable surroundings, friendly staff, good prices .... we've eaten here twice and will definitely be back.
The food was really nice and the service was excellent. The bar was a bit noisy, but it was a Friday evening, so what do you expect.

Nice food well presented good staff
I've eaten here a couple times, and the food was always fairly good. (Having not ordered anything too taxing, and been perfectly happy with mediocre.) I've never ordered a delivery from here, and have either ordered in person and waited to take away, or even eaten it within the shop. (They have a small, bare bones seating area.) The wait has never been short, but nothing like the time the delivery drivers seem to take - judging by the other reviews. If you're passing by, it's not a bad place to pick something up on the way, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Order taken in justeat on Saturday at 6.39 told 7.00 and extended to 7.10 by the takeway - thats ok. But to then get there with a statement they are short staffed and will be ready soon to then see the owner take my justeat order from the receipt machine is a bit off. Then had to wait a solid 25 mins to wait for my order to be cooked. Food was ok. Nothing special. Will not likely come back.
9 out of 10 times I've ordered my food its been very good. There is only the odd where it's either too salty or below par. This is one of my goto Chinese takeaways which I know our food will be good. Since I need to collect anyway, I don't need to worry about delivery. There are closer takeaways which may deliver but just not as good to me.

Visited the other day to see if the dishy guy in your photos worked there. Gutted to find out he does not. I was well compensated by a lovely portion of Chicken fried rice. Lovely and fresh.
One of the best Chinese takeaways around

Is my local and always order by phone and collect the food is great quality and very tasty and a great price the staff are excellent and the food is always fresh and hot when I collect the only Indian I use in Dundee
I am there a couple of times a year with my family, I love my Indian food and this place is amazing! I would recommend that everyone goes there if you love curry. Staff are friendly, always serving with a smile and doing the best to help. Food is always cooked to perfection - never had any bad services from there.

We visited for a 50th birthday meal. Staff were very polite and friendly. All our food was lovely and there was plenty of it...We have been here now quite a few times and have never been disappointed. Would go back and would recommend.
Excellent meals and service. Have been here with family, and also had food delivered to my home. Top quality every time.

Best take away in Dundee, if you pick up the food yourself you can see the hygiene of the place. Highly recommended (and I'm fussy).
Great food fairly priced.

Food Anarchy Cyprian Slouvaki for lunch today - great taste, lots of chicken freshly prepared with extra home made hummus and tsatsiki, salad and chips. I wasn't intending to eat it all (offered a doggy bag to take away) but somehow I managed to. Didn't need anything else for the rest of the day because the portions are very generous (price slightly reflects this but is actually good value). This place has a great bright cheerful atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble. Opposite the Art College in Perth Road.
Food Anarchy put a lot of care and effort into their menu and daily soups, keeping the price of everything down while providing tasty and interesting snacks that will keep you full. It's open fairly late (11pm) which makes it an ideal choice for post-pub or post-library scran.

A great little place. Nice and simple menu. There hot dogs where really yummy and the best chips I've had in years. Peanut butter milkshake do I have to say more sooooooo good!!
Really awesome fries, burger was pretty good although a bit greasy for my liking. Had never been to a five guys before but the unlimited refills on the drinks machine with all the different flavoured cokes and the sauce dispenser things were a nice little novelty and you can get whatever you want on the burger like a subway kind of thing just tell em exactly what you want on it so was good fun. Would definitely come back for the fries.
